This panel will provide preliminary findings of an evaluation of a new program at Trillium, the Proctor Home. The Proctor Home is an evidence-based program based on the Girls and Boys Town Model and provides residential level of care in a foster home setting with the goal of improving a youth's opportunities for successful transition back into the community. Findings from the first six months of the evaluation include (1) preliminary results of the implementation study; (2) an assessment of fidelity to the model; (3) a report on three client case studies; and (4) perspectives from the treatment team. Program changes since inception, successes, strengths and challenges will be discussed. Recommendations for program improvement and an update on the most recent activities will also be provided.
